Devotee Care

For years Srila Prabhupada’s devotee community has worked to meet the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of the devotees by groups of individuals coming forward to volunteer their time and energy in service. These groups always enhanced our community over the years.

Our Mission

To enhance the quality of life and maintain the dignity of community members through personalized care and wellness programs.

“The worship of my devotees is better than worship of me.” —Sri Krishna in Srimad Bhagavatam 11.19.21

We Seek to Provide

  • Spiritual, physical, and emotional support for community members
  • Connecting the community with professional medical assistance
  • Hospital visits
  • Prasadam delivery
  • Companionship / Scriptural readings
  • Nursing home / Home bound visits
  • Letter writing / Phone calls

You Can Help

An idea has been promoted that could allow our devotees to receive and give care, but in a time frame that would be manageable. There will be 12 devotee groups based largely on geographical location. Each group will have a captain(s) that will help to organize their neighborhood to serve the community’s needs for one month each year.

The Neighborhood Group Captain will be guided and supported by the core Devotee Care team. The Neighborhood Group will take on the responsibility of caring for those in need for the month of service. We accept donations of funds, time, organization and whatever you can give.

We Are Happy You’re Here! See Where You Fit In
