Jhulan Yatra Swing Festival

Jhulan is a swing festival celebrating Radha-Krishna. The small Deities of Sri Sri Radha Shyamasundar are swung in a special decorated swing.

Balarama, or Baladeva, is Krishna’s primary all-powerful expansion. During Krishna’s pastimes on earth, Balarama was present as His elder brother.
Sri Krishna Janmastami

Sri Krishna Janmashtami is the appearance anniversary of Krishna, the Supreme Person. His pastime of janma, birth, occurred on the ashtami, eighth day of the waning moon in the lunar month of Hrishikesh.

Vyasa Puja is the celebration of the appearance day of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (1896-1977), founder-Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.

Radhastami is celebrated by Krishna devotees as the appearance anniversary of Srimati Radharani, who is Krishna’s greatest devotee, the feminine aspect of the Absolute Truth, and Krishna’s energy Personified.
